Artesian is currently seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join our Engineering Team in Newark, Delaware.?This individual will be expected to lead and manage engineering investigations, design, permitting, financial project management and construction management for: surface and ground water supply, water treatment, pumping and distribution facilities; as well as wastewater collection, pumping, transmission, wastewater treatment and disposal facilities. Candidate should also have extensive hydraulic experience of both water distribution and wastewater collection systems.?Provide recommendations for system improvements. Ability to utilize water/wastewater hydraulic design models including WaterGems and other water and wastewater software packages. Qualifications: Bachelor?s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering from a 4-year ABET accredited curriculum or a BS in either Chemistry or Physics. Professional Engineer Registration (PE) in the States of Delaware and Maryland is preferred and/or equivalent professional/engineering design experience in a comparable field. A minimum of 8-years of applicable experience in Water/Wastewater Design. Must be proficient in use of a personal computer, particularly with WaterGems, other modeling/design software and Microsoft Office. Must possess the ability to work independently and solve complex engineering problems using sound judgment and education.
